The following calls were received by Sitka police by 8 a.m. today:
May 18
At 8:40 a.m. the adult probation office asked for help transporting a probationer to a residence.
At 9:12 a.m. a black Lab was reported running at large around St. Michael’s Cathedral. The animal control officer picked it up and called the dog’s owner, who was warned about letting his dog run at large and for not having a license for it.
At 9:59 a.m. drivers complained a bus was parked in a yellow zone at the corner of Harbor Drive and Maksoutof Street, blocking the view. The company owner said the bus drivers would be spoken to.
At 1:24 p.m. a vehicle was reported in a city bus parking space. Police left a message for the vehicle driver.
At 1:35 p.m. a caller said she’d just seen a man riding her stolen bike in the 800 block of HPR. Police made an arrest.
At 6:25 p.m. a 911 caller asked for an ambulance for her husband.
At 6:32 p.m. a caller on Wolff Drive said he was looking for his girlfriend’s uncle’s dog, a shih tzu.
At 8:45 p.m. a caller said her neighbors had charged her, saying they were going to kick her. Officers found the issue was over dogs. Both parties agreed to keep the dogs on leashes.
May 19
At 1:27 a.m. a vehicle parked at the airport was cited for a violation.

Quentin White, 21, was cited Thursday for violating conditions of release by failing to appear for a PBT evaluation.
Matthew S. Hartshorn, 21, was charged Thursday with theft by receiving, and cited for violating conditions of release.
Adam R. Allen, 50, was remanded today for violating conditions of release after blowing .130 BrAK on a PBT.
Emergency Calls
Sitka Fire Department received ambulance calls at 8;51 a.m., 1:57 p.m., 6:27 p.m. and 6;56 p.m. Thursday.
