ELIZABETH PERATROVICH DAY – Children enrolled in the Sitka Native Education Program march down Lincoln Street this afternoon as part of the Elizabeth Peratrovich Day Parade. Sitka schools were let out early today in order to allow students to watch and participate in the parade honoring the Alaska civil rights leader. Several Elizabeth Peratrovich Day events are scheduled for the weekend. (Sentinel Photo by James Poulson)
