Police logged the following calls between 8 a.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. today.
March 15
Police were unable to locate the people reported camping near Sitka National Historical Park.
A resident lost her military ID.
At 12:48 p.m. a woman said while walking her two children in a stroller near Eagle Beach, the stroller tipped over and one of the children had a head injury. An ambulance took the children and mom to the hospital.
Police are investigating a report of criminal mischief in the 300 block of Katlian Street, and another on O’Connell Bridge.
At 4:30 p.m. a 911 caller said a man was lying on the ground at Pioneer Park after falling and couldn’t stand. He was taken to the hospital.
At 4:52 p.m. a woman asked for help after she was confronted over her dogs’ behavior at the dog park by a fellow dog owner. She said one of her dogs escaped from the park. Police helped find the dog and returned it.
Police stood by for a civil assist on Anna Drive.
At 10:59 p.m. a woman said an intoxicated man had come to her house and was refusing to allow her husband to take him home. Police gave the man a ride home.
Grand Jury
Crystal D. Brazell, 33, was indicted Thursday by a Sitka grand jury on a charge of theft in the second degree. The indictment said she stole property or services worth $750 to $25,000 on Dec. 4.
Emergency Calls
Sitka Fire Department received ambulance calls at 10:30 a.m., 12:47 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. Thursday.
